Author Biography

Shahan Waheed is consultant Emergency Medicine at Aga Khan University Hospital. He is the honored recipient of the Fogarty Johns Hopkins-AKU International Collaborative Trauma and Injury Research Training Fellowship program and is currently a PhD research scholar. His research interest includes brain injuries, injury research, environmental disasters, injury prevention and treatment in LMICs. He also works in introducing innovative teaching methodologies for trauma and resuscitation education in LMICs. Muhammad Akbar Baig is a Senior Resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Agha Khan University. His field of interest is trauma and critical care. He has numerous highly reviewed publications to his credit.
