Endodontics: Principles and Practice is an attempt to integrate theory with clinical practice and produce a treatise which will be as much of use to the dental student as it is to the practicing clinician. This text covers all the basic aspects of endodontics from treatment planning and diagnosis right up to advanced endodontic procedures. The book has been designed to provide easy access to relevant information through the use of tables and boxes with clinically relevant tips. As a student it will give you a concise understanding of the subject matter from a theoretical perspective, while at the same time prepare you for the clinical aspects.

A summary at the end of every chapter provides a refresher right before the exams without having to go through the entire chapter. At the same time a relevant list of expected questions culled from the papers of top universities prepares you for the relevant exam oriented preparation. For the practicing clinician sequential colour photographs and charts provide a ready reckoner for clinical practice. In addition, we have incorporated additional chapters on restorative and esthetic aspects of endodontic therapy, including bleaching. Considering the rise in the incidence of vertical root fractures an entire chapter has also been devoted to vertical fractures which can be a diagnostic challenge. Each chapter contains references to essential sources of further reading, and an attempt has been made to provide sources which are free to access .
