About this Series

• Series consists of two parallel sets of readers Head Start Red and Head Start Blue which include a wide-range of fiction and non-fiction texts.
• Texts contain carefully controlled vocabulary and clear phonic progression.
• Set in familiar, local contexts allowing the student to focus on developing reading skills.
• Word lists of tricky sight words are provided in each reader and specific words highlighted within the texts to enhance vocabulary.
