Author Biography

Iftikhar Azam was born in Birmingham, England. His parents came to the UK in the sixties in search of a job and settled here. Being part of a large family, childhood was spent in poverty and depression. Traveling around the globe was a dream come true. In his spare time, he always focused on local and global issues, especially the evening news on Channel Four in the United Kingdom. He had always been interested in looking into the future, so he used to think about the future from the news. For twenty years he has been providing professional services to the construction and railway departments. He was fascinated by the finer aspects of architecture and architectural design. Recently, he became interested in writing and chose investigative journalism. He wants to be a writer who makes investigative journalism interesting to readers.

Dr. Mehboob Kashmiri is a doctor by profession but has a unique identity in the literary circles. Born on February 1, 1973 in Kanri, Sindh Province. After elementary education in a local school, he passed FSC examination from Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai College, Mirpur Khas. Creative buds began to sprout from school days. There was more obsession with other studies than curriculum. Frequent sitting and reading in the city library was a favorite pastime. Professional education started in Punjab Medical College Faisalabad. During his studies in 1995, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Punjabi College Magazine “Parvaaz” and in 1998, he was the Editor-in-Chief. Apart from Urdu, he is also a good writer of Punjabi and Sindhi. His collection has been published under the name of “Aks-e-Ab“. As well as being associated with poetry, he also made a name for himself in translation. Sheikh Farid-ud-Din became interested in Persian poetry and literature Attar’s great Masnavi led him to work on Mantik-ul-Tayyar and for the first time a complete prose translation with Persian text came to light. He is currently working as a Medical Superintendent at New City Teaching Hospital, Mirpur (Azad Kashmir).
