Professor Dr. Rashid Latif khan, a harbinger of hope and life in the field of gynecology and obstetrics is well-known today as the father of IVF in Pakistan Dr. Rashid embarked upon his professional journey with a missionary zeal 40 years back. He enjoys the honour of Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his devout service in the field of Medicine and was also awarded the Fellowship of Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Fellowship of College of Physicians &Surgeons and Fellowships of Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, and Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons. He is a prominent academician who has both examined and taught at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Dr. Yousaf Latif Khan is the junior author, and a active and professional contributor to the text of this book. He graduated from the Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore following training in his specialty from a renowned senior teacher and mentor, Dr. Farrukh Zaman. Dr. Yousuf also holds a fellowship from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.
