Author Biography

Dr. Farrukh Iqbal graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan in 1980 with outstanding academic credentials of the year. He did his MRCP from London, UK in 1986 and was awarded FRCP from London, UK and FRCP from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK in 1999 and 2000, respectively. Having served as Chairman and Dean, Head Division of Medicine at Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex, Lahore, with 28 years teaching and clinical experience in internal medicine. He is now serving as Principal of University College of Medicine and Head, Department of Medicine, University of Lahore Teaching Hospital, Lahore. The author has a vast experience in Medical Teaching and has actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and organizing different clinical courses and their examinations. He has been actively involved in teaching under and postgraduate medical students and helping them in organising their examinations.
