Superannuated is a story of reincarnation of souls; from a budding young man, back at home; to a President’s Commissioned Officer, wielding arms; A Gazetted Officer Class-1, wielding batons, and back to home, a retired old man.

Praying there are no more rebirths and it turns out to be a tale of seeking nirvana, where one quietly walks into the sunset. It is a saga spread over more than four decades; distinguishing between servicemen and civil servants; and the jobless and on the job. Underscoring social, cultural, moral and material malaise that our society is plagued with; revealing what we were, what we have turned into and where we are heading for.
