Description

Surgical Case Radiology is a simple and reader-friendly attempt to explain surgical case radiology while avoiding compromise on the clinical understanding of surgery on part of the students. It will benefit undergraduates, postgraduate trainees and students appearing for IMM, FCPS, MRCS and NLE exams. Recent advances in surgery to date have been included. This book has all relevant and lucid illustrations of radiological films for every case.

Author Biography

Dr. Shireen is currently working as an assistant professor of trauma general surgery and in-charge, medical education and skills lab at Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences (affiliated with JSMU). She is a fellow of the college of physicians and surgeons, Pakistan and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr. Shireen is an experienced trauma and disaster training instructor working in collaboration with WHO, NSET and USAID in several projects for injury prevention, road safety, disaster and trauma.

She is also a member of multiple national & international societies and holds positions in several organizations and is currently, national coordinator of primary trauma care foundation (PTC), Oxford, The United Kingdom. She has authored TOACS for Surgery, published by paramount books. She is also the editor of the first trauma manual of Pakistan, top to toe trauma.
