Author Biography

Esther Menon has been a teacher, lecturer and local authority education consultant within Secondary English since 1993. She is an experienced teacher trainer and delivers in-service training to teachers across the UK. As an educational consultant, Esther continues to support both teachers and students in the classroom, to raise attainment in GCSE English Language, English Literature and A Level English Literature. She has worked extensively with examination awarding bodies, recently leading the content development of one of the 2015 A Level English Literature specifications. Her student and teacher resources are rooted in detailed knowledge of pedagogy and practice. They are clear, engaging and informed by experience of real learners in today’s classrooms
