Author Biography

Dr. Wee Bee Geok is an Assistant Professor in the English Language and Literature Academic Group at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore, where she teaches mainly grammar knowledge and text type / genre courses. She has also taught on The Singapore-Cambridge Grammar Course developed by the Ministry of Education for practising EL teachers. Her teaching and research interests are in the areas of pedagogical grammar, genre analysis and systemic functional grammar.
