Deewan-e-Ghalib (Small)

Description

Najam-ud-Daulah, Dabir-ul-Mulk Mirza Nowshah Asadullah Ghalib is considered one of the greatest poets of the Urdu language. It is acknowledged that the 19th century was a century of domination. The secret of Ghalib’s greatness lies not only in the beauty and eloquence of his poetry. His real wonder is that he understood the realities of life and the human psyche in-depth and explained it to the common people with great simplicity. Dominant in the turbulent period in which he was born, he saw the destruction of a great Muslim empire and the British nation from outside dominating the country. Probably a factor as to why they’re doing so poorly.
