Interactive Science: Grade 1 was developed with the principles of engaging education in mind. The curriculum for homeschooling is interactive, meaning that your child will have plenty of hands-on activities to complete during his or her education. During the course of this program, your child will adventure into the very core of science, walking away at the end of the year with a better understanding of the subject.

By the time you and your child complete Interactive Science: Grade 1, he or she will be able to:

• Make basic observations.
• Observe the world using the five senses, and catalog that information based on sense (i.e., brownies are dark in color, smell like chocolate and are warm when out of the oven).
• Note patterns in astronomy, such as the rising and setting of the sun.
• Relate time of year to the amount of daylight available each day.
